LIFE IS A VAPOR Part 4

This is the last post in this series. I knew I couldn't say it all in one post because it would be too long, and I just felt the message was too important not to share all of it.

Proverbs 27:1 ESV Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

DEATH IS CERTAIN George Bernard Shaw astutely observed, “The statistics on death are quite impressive. One out of one people die.”

You would think that because death is not just probable but absolutely certain, it can happen at any minute, and that each person must stand before God for judgment that every person would be desperate to know how to get right with God. But strangely, many people put it out of mind and go on about life as if they will live forever.

People can watch the catastrophe of hurricanes, tornadoes and wildfires on TV and social media shake their heads in disbelief at the destruction and number of deaths then go out the door to their daily routines without getting on their faces before God and repenting of their sins! It’s amazing!

When you hear about disasters whether human-caused, such as 9/11, or due to natural causes please make sure that you have repented of your sins. Because if you do not you will die in your sins and you will perish.

Not to be ready for something that is 100 percent certain would be foolish!

In view of the fact that life is a vapor, that death is certain, and that God is sovereign I encourage you to think about what God wants your life to look like on your deathbed. What will you have accomplished that matters in light of eternity?

But even more important is: What have you done with His Son, Jesus Christ? Do you know Him? The Savior of the World. Have you received his payment for your sins? He is just waiting to fill your heart with love unimaginable, unexplainable, and undeniable.

Are YOU READY to meet Your Creator? Friend, it can be now or any day! The Lord says, "Today is the day of salvation."

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me. Rev. 3:20 NKJV

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.’ Rom.10:9-10
