2021 YEAR OF PREPARATION
Updated: Jan 13, 2021
I am feeling the Lord urging us to prepare for what is to come. For He is about to pour out his glory on those who fear His name. It is time to draw closer to the Lord, to be alert to the times, to be careful what we speak and how we walk. For we are the lights shinning in the darkness of the world.
When we look at 2 Timothy chapter 3 we see that in the last days difficulties will come.
We see the signs of the last days, like in the days of Noah. Many people are:
1. Lovers of self -narcissism everywhere
2. Lovers of money - greed everywhere
3. The boastful, arrogant, and prideful
4. Revilers who speak evil, slanderous words and are abusive to others.
5. Disobedience to parents and dishonor of elderly
6. Ungratefulness - entitlement mentality
7. Wickedness, un-holiness, brutality, wrecklessness, and abusiveness
8. Unloving
9. Irreconcilable - unforgiveness
10.Malicious gossip
11. Treacherous - betrayers
12. Lovers of pleasure not God, follow the ways of the flesh that feel good, rather than die to self.
13. Self-Righteous - Religious Spirit - Holding a form of godliness but deny the power of God.
We also see in that chapter that:
1. Those who follow the teachings of the Lord will be persecuted... We will pay the price for our faith, people will reject us. But He will protect us.
2. There will be evil men and imposters who will go from bad to worse and deceive many - so pray for the truth.
3. Deception will increase, do not be deceived... the Word is Truth, Jesus is Truth, and The truth is like a sword it will cut though and set us free.
Now for the GOOD NEWS... our instructions or Marching Order... how we can prepare for those difficult times.
1. Watch your associations because you are affected by those around you. Be around those who love the truth, obey God and are led by the Holy Spirit.
2. Have good role models, teachers, mentors, and have accountability in your life to a body of believers. Live your life as an example... Remember you don't need to struggle on your own... belong to a body.
3. Be committed to the Scriptures... All of them old and new testament, for it will equip you for good work.
4. Repent - turn away from darkness of the world turn to the light of the world. Jesus Christ. Turn away from fear, doubt, unbelief to Jesus and you will find times of refreshment.
5. Draw close to the Holy Spirit. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Have oil in your lamps. Tell the Holy Spirit you need Him. He will guard, lead and empower you.
These things will prepare you for the glory that is coming. A great awakening. a remnant is rising up!
He is preparing his BRIDE!
GLORY TO GOD!
